In an interview with The Guardian published on Wednesday, Cher said that she "almost got an ulcer" during Trump's first term in office, and that she doesn't know what she would do if he were to be re-elected.

"I almost got an ulcer the last time," Cher said. "If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the country]."

Cher is a vocal critic of Trump, and she has spoken out against his policies and rhetoric on numerous occasions. In the interview with The Guardian, she said that she is concerned about the direction of the country under Trump's leadership.

"I don't know what to do," Cher said. "I'm scared for my kids, I'm scared for my grandchildren. I'm scared for the world."

Cher's threat to leave the country if Trump is re-elected is not the first time a celebrity has made such a threat. In 2016, actress Barbara Streisand said that she would move to Canada if Trump won the presidency. However, Streisand did not follow through on her threat after Trump was elected.

It is unclear whether Cher is serious about her threat to leave the country if Trump is re-elected. However, her comments reflect the growing anxiety among many Americans about the prospect of Trump returning to the White House.

In a recent poll, 63% of Americans said that they are concerned about the possibility of Trump running for president again in 2024. The poll also found that 57% of Americans believe that Trump would win the Republican nomination if he ran.

The 2024 presidential election is still over a year away, but the race is already shaping up to be one of the most consequential in American history. The outcome of the election will have a profound impact on the future of the country, and it is clear that many Americans are deeply concerned about the prospect of Trump returning to the White House.
